2026-2027 SGNA Elections
SGNA elections are your opportunity to help shape the future of our association. All active voting members are invited to cast their ballot during this year’s election period. Ballots are due by 11:59 PM CT on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
What Members Vote On:
Active voting members will elect the Directors who will serve on the SGNA Board of Directors, as well as four members of the Committee on Nominations and Elections. Each member can submit one ballot.
How the Election Works:
All voting takes place online during the designated election window. Candidates who receive the highest number of votes in their category (a plurality) are elected. Once voting closes, all election results are tabulated and communicated to the full membership. Election results will be announced at SGNA’s 53rd Annual Course in Atlanta on May 17-19, 2026.
While members elect Directors and the Nominations Committee, officers (such as President-Elect, Secretary, etc.) are elected separately by the Board of Directors, following SGNA’s bylaws.
