Become a Champion Today!
Your facility’s GI/endoscopy unit is in a position to improve patient safety and care, but it needs the tools and knowledge to lead the charge! When you sign up to become a Champion for your GI/endoscopy unit, you are making a commitment to analyze your current infection prevention practices, and identify opportunities for improvement or change. Champions learn how to complete in-depth unit risk assessments, apply survey standards from accrediting organizations and build knowledge on leading practices.
Being a Champion also provides an opportunity for your GI/endoscopy unit to become the ‘go-to’ resources for infection prevention questions. They can work with the hospital’s infection prevention committee to review processes, products, education and competencies, and train others on how to follow SGNA standards.

- The 2-year AIM Program ($325) guides participants to assess their current practices and implement best practices in the first year, while the second year focuses on maintaining the optimal infection prevention standards for long-term success and patient safety. This options requires the Champion to remain the same individual for the full 2-year program.
