This session will help SGNA members understand an overview of past and present technology in the field of manometry with a focus on the newest technology of high resolution imaging. You will explore the basic “how to steps” of performing high resolution esophageal manometry, and look at the contour plot representation identify the major anatomical landmarks and physiology. You will review conventional waveform manometry and compare these type studies with high resolution manometry imaging.
