Endoscopic Ultrasound is steadily being recognized as an important tool in local staging of lung cancer. This session provides a brief overview of the EUS diagnostic capabilities in diagnosing and staging lung cancer. Past research is highlighted to demonstrate the impact of lung cancer as a public health issue. Indications for EUS-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) and real-time EUS are also shown.
