The objective of this session is to show various ways in which infection control issues in endoscopy relate to our practice and equipment. This scenario concept will dramatically show how simple things we use in our daily work within endoscopy can have a negative impact on our practice, staff and patients. The session identifies problems, breaks in technique; and inappropriate short cuts. Hazard assessment will also be included.
