• The SGNA Annual Course keeps members informed about key issues in the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy fields. An SGNA Affiliate Membership qualifies you for up to $100 off registration.

• Standards and Guidelines address issues directly affecting the practice of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy nursing. Position Statements are a way for SGNA to issue a formal opinion on a topic related to gastroenterology and/or endoscopy nursing practice.

Publications

• Gastroenterology Nursing journal expands on existing practice knowledge, while the SGNA News keeps members up-to-date with the latest activities, issues and concerns of Gastroenterology/Endoscopy nursing.

• The SGNA Marketplace (online)/Publications Catalog offers practice reference materials, educational offerings and resources to help you communicate with your patients at substantial discounts for members.

• As an Affiliate member you will have access to the Members-Only section at www.sgna.org. This includes a disucssion forum for members to exchange information on any number of GI/Endoscopy-related topics.

• SGNA News is also available to members online. Need to find an article quickly? Just enter a key word, date, or topic and pull up the article instantly.

• Looking for someone experienced in Gastroenterology/Endoscopy to fill a position? As an Affiliate member you can place an ad on the SGNA Employment Network, the only site dedicated solely to the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy field.

Special Interest Group/Regional Societies*

• SGNA has 17 Electronic Special Interest Groups that provide opportunities to network with other professionals with similar interests and experience.

• SGNA has 64 Regional Societies that offer local networking and educational opportunities across the nation.
