As a final step in your preparation for the ABCGN Certification Exam, consider taking this 150 question, time sensitive, online exam.
This exam is a great culmination of your studying from SGNA's Gastroenterology Nursing: A Core Curriculum, the SGNA Doris Barnie Certification Review Book and/or course, the SGNA Certification Preparation Kit or any other materials you used in preparation for the ABCGN Certification Exam.
Beginning in May 2008, the ABCGN Certification Exam will also be offered as a computer based test. What better way to prepare yourself then to take a computer based practice exam! Please note the layout and structure of the SGNA Online Practice Exam does not replicate the layout and structure of the actual ABCGN Certification Exam.
The questions on this practice exam are from the retiredABCGN Study Guide as well as updated retired exam questions. None of the questions asked are currently active exam questions, but question structure is consistent with the exam. Successful completion of the SGNA online practice exam does not guarantee you will pass the actual ABCGN Certification Exam.
Please read below for detailed instructions regarding the SGNA Online Practice Exam:
- You will have 4 hours (240 minutes) to complete this timed exam. The clock will start once you view the first exam question and will stop once you have completed the last exam question. ( Please note: the ABCGN Certification Exam is based on 175 questions but only 150 of those questions are graded, please take this into consideration when prioritizing your time).
- After viewing the instruction slides, the exam will begin and the clock will start, allowing you 4 hours (240 minutes) to complete the practice exam. Please make sure you are ready to dedicate the next 4 hours to the practice exam as you will not be able to stop the clock or exit and re-enter the exam.
- You will have access to the exam for 2 weeks from your date of purchase. During that time you may access the exam as many times as you would like. Please take this into consideration when determining when you want to purchase this program.
- Upon completing the exam you will have the opportunity to go back through the exam and review all the questions and answers by selecting the Quiz Review button at the end of the exam.
- Upon completing the exam you will also be able to review all test questions with their references by selecting the Finish button and then downloading the answer key. This answer key is provided to allow you to review those questions that you got wrong and reference that specific material.
- At anytime, you can print these directions by selecting the Attachment button located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- Access to your practice exam will expire two weeks from your date of purchase. During this time you can take the exam as many times as you would like.
- Successful completion of this online practice exam does not guarantee you will pass the actual ABCGN Certification Exam.
