Nearly 2,000 gastroenterology and endoscopy nursing professionals “expanded their horizons,” on April 30–May 5, at SGNA’s 37th Annual Course in Orlando, Florida. This year’s Course delivered on SGNA’s continued focus to bring the best in GI/endoscopy continuing education. True to this year’s Annual Course theme, attendees from across the country were “taking the next step” in their professional development — making the most of their experience by spending six sunny days attending educational sessions, networking and visiting the exhibit hall.
This year’s course featured many opportunities for individuals to grow and shape their knowledge and skill sets to achieve the best in patient care. Attendees committed themselves to their continued education by gaining information on emerging diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in GI/endoscopy field, increasing their education on clinical and professional topics, along with strengthening their professional connections with like-minded peers. They also had many opportunities to share their passion with colleagues in classrooms, the exhibit hall or just walking around the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel.
The 37th Annual Course featured an expansive exhibit hall with more than 24,000 square feet, featuring 84 exhibiting companies. Seven of these companies were first-time exhibitors with SGNA. Attendees were able to explore and experience the latest products, services and cutting-edge technologies in the GI market, along with making valuable connections with leading industry organizations.
SGNA would like to give special thanks to the Program Committee for their tremendous efforts to make this year’s Annual Course such a success. And thank you to those who attended the Course — we look forward to seeing you next year in Indianapolis!
